Both humbuckers are wound with the old 42AWG enamelled wire. We use Alnico 8 magnets for the bridge and neck pickups to give the pickups a very special tone. Wound to 9.3 K-Ohm DC resistance on the bridge and 8.0 K-Ohm on the neck. These PAF-style pickups are real killers. The "Iron Fist" set comes with high quality nickel silver covers that don't compromise the great performance of these pickups. Get your metal shower!
