`60 Vintage Thunderbird Alnico Humbucker

Remake of the legendary Alnico Thunderbird pickups from the 60s. These humbuckers transmit a clear, defined tone with the classic mid-range punch and sound like a mixture of humbucker and single-coil pickup. We have given the bridge version a few more windings to compensate for the volume differences between the pickup positions. We manufacture most of the components for these pickups ourselves. An effort that really pays off. The price refers to a set with nickel/chrome cover. Black chrome/350 gold cover available for an extra charge.

MM Stinger Ray

The Stinger Ray is an exact replica of the MM original. We manufacture the two early versions ('76-'78 and '78-'84). These humbuckers are milled from Vulcanised Fever and have specially manufactured Alnico magnets. The two versions differ in the length of the Alnico magnets. The original type from 1977 had longer magnets, for installation in newer instruments the milling must be adapted accordingly. Delivery includes matt black cover.

Preci Bass '57 Splitcoil

The Preci Bass '57 split coil pickup is manufactured according to the historical model. The coil bodies are made of black vulcanised fibre and Alnico 5 magnets are located in the coil core. The heavy formvar wire used has a slightly thicker insulation layer which ensures a larger coil circumference, producing the typical warm, dynamic vintage Preci bass tone. We use Clothwire for the connecting cables, black caps are included.

Preci Bass '68 Splitcoil

The Preci Bass '68 Splitcoil is manufactured according to its historical model. The coil formers are made of grey vulcanised fibre, equipped with Alnico 5 magnets. The black plain enamel wire used is historically correct with a slightly thinner insulation layer which ensures a lower coil diameter, producing the typical dynamic late-sixties Preci bass tone: The result of this combination is a punchy bass and crisp treble. We use Clothwire for the connection cables, black caps are included.
